2023-2024 Selected Works

After years of exploring the use of embroidery on photographs, Naufel decided that it was time to bring more color to their practice as a way of acknowledging that even when everything looks monochromatic, life still finds its way of adding different layers and shades to it, as that as humans, we are constantly experiencing dualities that serve as reminders to appreciate even more our experience here. This new use of color can also be a symbol of past, present and future co-existing.
